Alina Cruz was born in Havana, Cuba and grew up in Miami, Florida, USA. She studied at the University of Florida in Gainesville (GO GATORS), and received her Law Degree from Florida International University in Miami.

Upon receiving her Florida Bar license, Attorney Cruz began working closely with her mother Attorney Alejandrina G. Cruz, an immigration attorney for over 30 years. As the founder of CruzLaw, P.A., Attorney Alina Cruz has assisted and represented clients in a variety of legal matters especially complex immigration cases and deportation defense. She has also represented clients in civil litigation matters including Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Defense.

FORECLOSURE GAL: Attorney Cruz represents the interests of absentee and deceased property owners as Guardian Ad Litem (GAL). She is a participant in the Foreclosure GAL Wheel of Miami-Dade County and has been regularly appointed by the Court as GAL since 2014.
